Have you ever thought - Can a devout Muslim be an American patriot and a loyal citizen? Is Muslim-American really an oxymoron? Consider this:
Theologically, no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia.
Religiously, no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)
Scripturally, no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).

Can Muslims Be Good Americans?
Can a devout Muslim be an American patriot and a loyal citizen? Consider this:
Theologically, no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia.
Besides the fact that one isn’t an American in a theological sense; the Quran speaks of Allah as the one true God. Older pagan deities were purged from Arabia as part of the rise of Islam.
Scripturally, no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).
A Muslim’s first allegiance may be to Allah as most Christians would also feel that theirs is to God.
How do the five pillars of Islam disqualify one as a loyal citizen? They are:
1) No God But God alone and Muhammad is his servant.
2) Pray five times a day
3) Pay charity to poor people
4) Fast one month every year (Ramadan)
5) Do the Hajj at least one time in your life.
Geographically, no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.
Mecca is the direction to face for prayer, and a holy city. Rome holds similar devotion for Catholics. Should we consider Catholics disloyal?
Socially, no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.
The statement is not accurate, although verse 5.51 does refer to “certain Christians and Jews” The Arabic word “waley” quoted as “friends” actually means, “someone who is responsible for someone.”
Here’s another Quranic quote: “[60:8] GOD does not enjoin you from befriending those who do not fight you because of religion, and do not evict you from your homes. You may befriend them and be equitable towards them. GOD loves the equitable.”
Politically, no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.
Muslims submit to the one true God who they call Allah; not to Mullahs
Domestically, no, because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him
(Quran 4:34).
Not accurate quotes. Muslims are not instructed to marry four women.
Verse 004.034 says:
YUSUFALI: Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other…. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance):
Religiously, no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)
Look at the translation of the quoted verse. 002.256
YUSUFALI: Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.
Intellectually, no, because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Not true, Muslims are required to respect the laws of countries they are in. Besides, Islam is considered an Abrahamic religion; much of Islam has Old Testament roots.
Philosophically, no, because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression.
Incorrect. Islam specifically states that other religions are to be respected and allowed to worship freely.
Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Turkey would be considered a democracy, and even if all the others are dictatorial or autocratic, this statement reflects the will of the rulers, not the populace.
Spiritually, no, because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as our heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in the Quran's 99 excellent names.
Islam is, perhaps, the most spiritual of religions. When is the last time you prayed publically five times a day? Fasted for a month? Most mainstream Christian, Jewish, or Islamic authorities acknowledge we are all praying to the one, true God.
Therefore after much study and deliberation....perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both good Muslims and good Americans. Call it what you wish...it's still the truth!
Should we also be suspicious of the Jews with their fondness for Israel, the Catholics, Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Baha’is, Taoists? Don’t they have non-US allegiances?
What about those non-religious or secular, or the Scientologists, Wiccans, Spiritualists, Deists, Agnostics, Atheists?
Doesn’t everybody worry about the Unitarian/Universalists? And what about those Native American religions; un-American?
I believe that Jesus would not take this approach; if he were concerned, it would be for the fear and mistrust generated by these statements.
It is well that anonymous is,well, anonymous. The Islamic tradition of taqiya specifically removes the stigma of sin when lying to protect yourself in a hostile situation. As a matter fo fact, one imam (Jafar Sadik) stated that:
One who does not keep taqiya he has no religion." He also said on another occasion that, "Fear for your religion and protect it with taqiya." He further said, "Our belief concerning taqiya is that it is obligatory and he who forsakes, it is in the same position as he who forsakes prayer."
A muslim living in a non-muslim society is in a hostile environment. So right off the bat anonymous is under absolutely no constraints BY ALL THAT HE HOLDS HOLY to tell the truth.
So don't even bother responding to this heathen.
Thanks sig94. Was thinking the same thing myself along with.
Ya can fix stupid but ya can't fix ignorant...
